About AC100

AC100 - The A Cappella Centennial Celebration is 100 days of a cappella concerts

This "virtual festival" will celebrate all styles of all-vocal music as performed by more than 5,000 ensembles around the globe.

If you sing a cappella, learn how you can participate!

AC100 will honor “A Cappella Entrepreneurs”

The 5,000 ensembles around the globe were all started by a cappella entrepreneurs – singers who had a vision and made it happen. AC100 will honor those individuals at concerts in the U.S. and perhaps elsewhere. Founders will be invited to concerts and pre-concert banquets, given a token of appreciation for their contributions to the a cappella movement, and recognized during the course of the concerts. Founder interviews will be collected as source material for a book-centered multimedia project under development by AC100 Executive Director Don Gooding, entitled Entrepreneurs in Song. These concerts will take place:

AC100 will raise money for a cappella summer camp scholarships

All profits from AC100 will be used to send college and high school students to a cappella summer camp. Great student leadership makes for great a cappella groups, and Tiffin University’s a cappella summer camp helps make great a cappella leaders. The scholarships will be administered by CASA (The Contemporary A Cappella Society).
